last year, i didnt really get to celebrate caryn’s birthday with her on the actual day. this year, since caryn is gone during the weekdays and her birthday is on a thursday, i figured there would be a good chance that i wouldn’t be able to celebrate with her again. luckily though, her boss let her come home a day early, and therefore i was able to take her out to dinner on her actual birthday. we went to the First Crush wine bar. the food there was really damn good. they had some bomb cheeses, great oysters, really good horseradish encrusted salmon, and not surprisingly, the wine was quite good too. by the time we left, we were both sooo overstuffed. ouch!
